Acrylic, Charcoal, Pastel, and Collage on Canvas
“Hectic” is one of those flexible South African words that can describe almost anything - busy, chaotic, overwhelming, exciting or just a lot. It’s often less about exactly what’s happening and more about the feeling of it.
Those familiar South African expressions and that particular sense of humour have travelled with me. Hectic is about embracing the beautiful chaos of life - the unexpected, the slightly overwhelming and the moments when there’s simply a lot going on. Sometimes, life is just hectic!!!
